Vatika commits 5 million sq ft for green ratings under GRIHA

GRIHA Council will be helping Vatika in setting up a project implementation unit for executing GRIHA certification.

Vatika Group has tied up with GRIHA Council for implementation of the green building concepts and obtaining GRIHA rating for over 5 million square feet of building space.

GRIHA Council will be helping Vatika in setting up a project implementation unit for executing GRIHA certification. It will also work with the firm to maximise awareness and outreach on green initiatives through publicity campaign, marketing, collaterals and dedicated link to GRIHA Council website.

The developer will also establish a review committee along with GRIHA Council to monitor and provide guidance for smooth implementation of the green building initiative.

GRIHA is a green building rating system developed to suit Indian climate and construction practices. The council issues GRIHA certification for new buildings as well as retrofits.
